Dakar NOLA is a modern Senegalese tasting menu restaurant. Like the cuisines of the two coastal cities from which it takes its name, Dakar NOLA highlights seafood from local waters and produce from farmers here in South Louisiana. The menu is inspired by Chef Serigne Mbaye’s most cherished memories of his childhood in Senegal, where he learned to cook at his mother’s knee. Dinners at Dakar NOLA feature multiple courses, some served family style in homage to West African dining traditions.
Every ticket comes with a pre-ordered signed book.
You may be seated at a table with people you don’t know. Come solo, or bring your friends! We will all be friends by the end of dinner!

Dakar NOLA just moved to a new location at at 937 Leonidas Street, New Orleans. If you are traveling to Dakar using a ride share service such as Uber or Lyft, please enter the new address, 937 Leonidas Street, as your destination. Should you enter Dakar NOLA as your destination, it may take you to the former location on Magazine Street.

Every ticket includes your seat at the dinner (food included) and a pre-ordered signed copy of the book.

The book will be published at the end of January 2027. Your copy will be shipped within a week of the publishing date.
